For 50 years, La Familia has supported at-risk families through counseling, job training, and health services. Your financial contribution is crucial to continue this work and create lasting change. Our record of success in the community assures that your investment will bring returns in the form of changed lives! Donations are tax-deductible and can be made securely online, via check, credit card, or the United Way Giving Campaign (Donor Code #3204). Every donation, big or small, helps us improve lives in our community.
Invest in the community
Your donation will pay for annual health fairs for children and allow parents to get fit by attending group fitness classes and provide seniors an opportunity to stay connected with their peers in the community.
Invest in education
Your donation will give parents the opportunity to attend classes and groups that promote their engagement in their child’s education, as well as pay for children to receive critical tutoring, mentoring and leadership programs after the school bell rings.
Invest in wellness
Whether it’s access to health insurance, counseling or health services – your donation will pay for children and families to access ongoing therapy, obtain health services they otherwise couldn’t afford and get enrolled in health coverage.
Invest in jobs
Your donation will provide professional attire for a jobseeker, transportation to job interviews and pay fees for a jobseeker to obtain a GED.
Invest in families
Your donation will pay for kids to participate in neighborhood sports leagues, get uniforms and equipment, enroll in a karate class and experience field trips to places they have never seen.
