La Familia’s Maple Neighborhood Center
La Familia is a true community organization that welcomes the support and participation of all our local friends and families. If you have not yet been to our offices or taken advantage of our programs, we encourage you visit our events calendar and find a time to come visit us.

La Familia’s Maple Neighborhood Center, located in South Sacramento at the corner of Franklin Boulevard and 37th Street, serves as a vibrant hub for health services, community programs, and opportunities aimed at supporting local children and families. Designed to foster neighborhood stabilization, economic opportunity, and improved community health, the center offers a range of services including youth leadership programs, behavioral health counseling for children. Additionally, the facility features Futsal courts and collaborates with various community partners to empower residents and promote positive change in the area.
Maple Partners
916 Ink is a Sacramento-based nonprofit offering creative writing workshops for youth in grades 3-12. These workshops help improve literacy, vocabulary, empathy, and communication skills, while promoting social and emotional learning. Our Wednesday sessions provide a safe space for youth to express themselves through writing.
Sacramento Adventure Playground is powered by Fairytale Town and it’s a free after-school program for youth ages 6-15. It offers weekly activities in science, art, physical play, and social time. Registration by a parent is required for participation.
Highlands Community Charter School offers The English Language Development (ELD) program that helps English learners improve listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Open to California residents, 22+ years old, without a high school diploma. Free childcare available. Contact 916-997-0275 for more info.
